A cool glass of water + An inspiring location + Floor to ceiling windows beckoning me outdoors = A perfect place to spend some time reading my Bible and seeking God.
Find a place to be honest with yourself and with Him about where you are at this week. Take an unfiltered look at you.
Spill the tea. Spill the tea with Jesus (that means spilling the beans for us older generations).
Don't just spill a drop. Let it pour out from your soul until nothing is left in that little tea pot. Tell Him everything. Your hopes and dreams. Your worries and fears. Then allow time to be quiet and let God speak to you.
He will speak through His Word. He will deposit precious gifts of promise, like golden remnants entwining your heart as you spend time with Him. Making you rich from the inside out.
Don’t by-pass moments of solitude with God this week.
It's your primary goal. Your sole purpose. Your aspiration. Your passion. Your life.
Change of place + change of pace (can sometimes) = a change of perspective.
