"He leads me besides still waters ..." Psalm 23:2B
The word leads (5095) in the Old Testament is so intentional. It means to run with a sparkle, to protect, sustain, guide, gently lead and feed.
Whenever you get to a point in your walk with God where it feels rushed, stressful, frantic and frustrating that's a sign for you that something is out of alignment. Get before God and ask Him why you feel that way in your time with Him.
When God leads, it doesn't matter what season it's in, He leads gently and intentionally. He leads you at a pace you can sustain with Him. He leads you to a place with guaranteed provision, even if the pathway seems less than ideal.
I love that the Bible says God leads us besides still waters. When I was researching that word it has the meaning of comfort in its root.
So basically David is saying that God leads us besides restful, comforting waters.
God has that in store for you in this season of your life.
Love you friend,
