You are a beautiful swan. Maybe you can’t see it, but you need to know today that you are surrounded by swans in the faith. There are people on this end of the story who are praying for you and see with God-given perspective the beautiful creation that you will become. They are ready to prophecy into your future. They are shouting at you, speaking words of life, encouragement, love and divine purpose. They see beyond your present into what you are becoming.
Embrace these words right here, right now.
Don’t allow your years of feeling less than keep you blinded to the beautiful creation you are becoming. God is speaking promise and direction over and over again to you, reassuring you of who you are and what He has called you to be through His Word. It’s time to take the veil off and truly see. It’s time to ask God to help you see, and remember who He has created you to be.
When you discover who God has defined you to be, a new sense of courage rises within. You get a God-given confidence instilled deep down. It doesn’t come from selfishness or pride, but rather in the unwavering reality of who you are in God. Your identity is strong. Your beliefs cannot be shaken.
No matter how many chickens, hens or people call you otherwise, when you look in the mirror you know who you will become—and it is not an ugly duckling. It’s a destined-to-be-one-of-God’s-most-beautiful-creations type of being.
At the foundation of knowing and living out your purpose, you’ve got to know in confidence who God created YOU to be. To be defined by your Creator. After all, if you don’t know who
you are, how in the world will you ever be able to Just Be you?
You will constantly be changing if it’s not rooted in the right thing. Every obstacle and difficulty will cause you to question your God-given identity, tempting you to waiver in your faith and jump ship every time the going gets hard.
"But when your identity is secure in Him, you can stand courageous and grounded. Though seasons will change, your true self remains the same. You stand strong, immovable, safe in the Father’s hands. Allowing God alone to define you."
